    Enter your Review Very Comfortable. Not waterproof. Chip-a-tex doesn't hold a candle to Gore-tex. Norwegian welt provides direct conduit for water to seep in around sole. Leather absorbs water like a sponge and takes a LONG time to dry. I also own a pair of Red Wings with ebtide leather and gore-tex membrane. My feet have NEVER gotten wet in them and the leather dries in minutes no extra weight. But like I said they are comfortable and the leather is so supple it's like they are broken in when they arrive.

    Enter your Review Great boot. It's extremely comfortable and the insulation has worked well. I've only been wearing them for about a month, but I have yet to have problems. Very waterproof and the vibram sole has excellent traction, however I would be nice if it were a little stiffer. My only complaint is that I couldn't get it in a steel toe.
